300D, Shutter 320 F/13 with a strobe unit under the glass coffee table it was on. Plenty more, this is just one of the few I've processed.
Thanks, Comments and Critiscism welcome.

Cool Picture. Remember photography is only 10% equipment.

I really like this one! Great shot!
Would like to see some more with off-center angles though.

I've taken a few shots of a chess set like that before, they always look pretty cool. Nice job and congrats on the new lens.

Thanks!
I have probably 50 or so more, just need to process them and get them sized for web

I have the same set and have used it as a model many times too. :-)
I really like the lighting from underneath.

Its a great set, Picked it up from Harbour freight tools for like $5, only problem with it is that both of my knights on the clear side have their noses broken

Experimental > Glass Chess Set
where ?? I thought those were lights on a highway !
where is the chess set ?
Well I didn't use a camera, well I did, but this looks like a photograph, but it isn't,
this is a "drawing", yes I drew this in 3D Studio Max I modeled each of the pieces .
applied "textures' that are "believeable" and photo -realistic

That is an embedded image, in a very old thread, I think that the OP has simply got another image in that site now.
Alas.

Your rendering looks good but...
why was this brought back?

wow, brought back from the dead...
Someone snaked the domain from me a year and a half ago because my hosting company never renewed the domain, I paid them to do it, but alas...
might as well edit it to put the right image up.
