I've been unable to connect to ModelMayhem for the last couple of days, nor do I get a response to pings to the server. I just tried to get to the Internet Brands website (owner of MM) and cannot connect to it either.
Anybody have any idea what's happening?

Not sure, but I suggest we unravel the caution tape just in case :p

Perhaps I'm looking at different sites than you are, but I've been able to pull up both Model Mayhem ( http://www.modelmayhem.com/ ) as well as Internet Brands ( http://www.internetbrands.com/ib ) from my location - the link from Internet Brands to Model Mayhem works for me as well.
Did a quick search (Browse button) on Model Mayhem site, and it's working for me.
If you haven't changed anything on your browser, perhaps it's your service provider that's the issue? Maybe someone in your area managed to get MM or IB to ban your local server, which would affect you as well.

How about anybody outside of Southern CA? I'm in Phoenix and can't connect. My company servers are in Minneapolis and I can't connect from there either.
Traceroute attempts timeout in the LA area.

Both links work for me. I'm near San Francisco...

Works for me up here. The site does respond and load slowly for me at times though.

I live in Kansas city and can't connect all of a sudden, don't know why, was working just fine an hour ago then all of a sudden wont load. Every time i put it in the browser it just loads for 10 secs or so and then says internet explorer cannot display page. Firefox doesn't work either. Whats weird is that if i use an anonymous ip address it will go through, but very slowly. I thought maybe I was blocked by model mayhem for some reason.
