This little beauty is Butch's Pro Street 63 Nova SS (Super Sport).

Dual quads on a 350 engine. Cars in Pro Street have a "true back-half" chassis, which means it's not a tube frame.
350 Turbo transmission with a Ford 9" read end.

Another nice ride Frank.

I got rained out again this weekend, so I'll just have to drool over your posts.

Those little Nova's made awesome Pro Streeters. I'm sure this car is a BLAST to drive, and I love seeing those twin sideways Holly carbs. Nice shots Frank. :D

Thanks everyone, & sorry John. We've been getting that, too. Tonight I only had an hour before everyone left. OTOH, there was more room around the cars & the sky was overcast so I could shoot earlier. It's looking like this week is going to suck big time, too! Decent weather 'till 4PM, & then rain long enough that no one is going to come out! :(

Were these taken after sunset also ? No, about 7:30 last Thursday, but the sun partly slipped behind some high haze which helped a lot.

That is one fine car with some muscle. Great shots of an awesome car. Too bad you can't add sound to a shot like this.

Well done as always Frank. The red is dead on. Are you going to Thunder over Michigan (Aug.) this summer?

Cheers,

Lynn

Too bad you can't add sound to a shot like this. I've thought about making a CD, but from my days of shooting video, I just can't face hauling all that sound equipment around. Years ago, someone made a record (Google it!) called "The Pure Sound of Speed" of sports cars at a track. I almost wore it out. Another record was "Sebring Corners", made using 6 mics. I have 2 'cause I did wear one out! ;) Are you going to Thunder over Michigan (Aug.) this summer? I was going to skip it 'cause last year I offered poster quality prints for their fundraising in return for unrestricted access to the apron before & after the show. They turned me down.
But they've offered the irrestible bait of several Spitfires & Hurricanes, so I can't see any way of passing it up & I just lined up a 100-400 lens in case I don't buy one before that.
Are you coming up for that show, Lynn? I'd love to meet you & see your "take" on the show! ;)
