Processing still a work in progress, likely going to blur the textured bg a bit. These are a personal project (which is nice, because I rarely have time for that stuff between clients) and will be art pieces in our living room. Printing on aluminum or canvas...20x30 size and there will be a 30x40 in the center of another I'm still working on (shows the wine, beer and bottles for both).

Lighting was AB800 above with a beauty dish diffusion sock inside a 7in reflector with a 10 degree grid in it (the diffusion is under the grid which is key). AB800 in a stripbox behind and camera left. AB800 with a 30 degree grid on the bg.

I like the background as it is. Orange is known to be a great advertising color too. Of course, it draws the eye a lot and you might not want that. To me though, the subject matter is not all that interesting, other than the glasses are extremely clean and shiny and the beer is really in focus.

I wish the entire glass of wine was in focus. I do like those, though.

Thanks all. Here is the finished product. Those that saw these earlier will see the wine was given some high pass sharpening attention to really bring out the detail (I overwrote the image linked in the original post already, can post the completely SOOC images if someone would like to see 'em).

Just putting this together as a layout but these will be printed separately. I think we've settled in on doing the outter images on high-definition aluminum and the middle one on metallic canvas. Added a texture on the mat that somewhat resembles our tan walls.

Really beautiful. I love the fix on the wine. That's pretty good for just sharpening.

The key is it was the high-pass sharpening option in Photoshop. Did this on about 5 times on different layers - using different settings for each bring out specific parts...masking in each time.
