My soon to be new camera is sitting in a FedEx warehouse less than 15 minutes away from where I live and wont be delivered until tomorrow! Where's that <banghead> emoticon? I actually called and asked if I could just go pick it up and save them a trip. :o Oh well...at least I'll have it in time to take it out this weekend, right?

Isn't FedEx nice?

I hate it when they pull that BS, which is why I have everything delivered to my work address. They would be slightly upset if we suddenly stopped using their services and switched to UPS.

They might drop it off a day early, the few times I have used FedEx their tracking information was incorrect.

fed ex sucks...plain and simple. i had my 350d shipped ups, called the nearest branch the day i ordered it and told them to hold it there an when it came in, i picked it up that night at 7:00.
fed ex ground has to make an attempt at delivery first before you can pick it up. regular fed ex will usually hold it for you if yyou give them a few days notice.

They said that if the seller called and told them to hold it then I could come and pick it up, but not until tomorrow anyways, lol. Patience is a virtue, but hope springs eternal~

I'v had mixed results with FedEx.
On the good side they deliver to my house in the morning while UPS usually doesn't get her until after 7pm.
On the other hand FedEX delivered my wife's Epson 4870 photo scanner in a box that was soaking wet and falling apart. Fortunately it wasn't damaged.

Arpi (username) sent me my new 17-85 IS. UPS tracking says it is out for delivery. Will Brown ever get here??? :-(
