If I have a photo of a model and I want to clean up her face some (pimples, skin imperfections, etc). What features can I use? Thanks so much for your help -- Jimmy

If you're using Photoshop.
The clone stamp and/or healing brush(looks like a bandaid).
The healing brush is better because the color blends better as well as the texture, unless the colors are way different like bright red pimple on the skin.
Sometimes I use both, I'll clone over a blemish and then to blend it better I'll go over it w/ the healing brush.

The new spot healing brush in CS2 is a great tool for little blemishes.

Which ever method you use, you should always make sure you do it on a duplicate layer.

After you do it, if you want to soften the skin, dupliate the layer, apply a small amount of gaussian blur, then mask off everything except the skin. That way the skin looks soft, but you have sharp hair, eyes, etc. You might mask off things like the outline of the nose too, and mask the lips.
