i recently purchased a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT8 camera (:D). I also have a Vivitar 80-200 1:4.5ML zoom lense that i used on a Yashica camera. The Vivitar of course, does not work with the Canon digital and/or my Canon SLR AE1. Are there lense adapters that i can purchase to get the Vivitar zoom lense to operate with my Canon rebel? If so, what would be the adapter make/model? Thanks. Joe

You would probably be better off buying a new lens and selling the old one. You would lose autofocus with an adapter.

Yes but if I recall Vivitar had one of the best zooms you could own in the 70's.
Is the 80-200mm Vivitar a fast zoom? They sell mount adapters at BHphoto.
