All shot indoors, natural light plus one off-camera flash (then photoshopped, obviously).
Edit: received a few comments as to the distracting effects of some of the backgrounds, so included a few more "simple" versions further down the thread.

she is absolutely beautiful! I love the 3rd shot of her in red.
I prefer a simple background....oh and CONGRATULATIONS.

I like the photography! It's one of the maternity series I actually find to be artistic. And yes she's beautiful; you brought out her full beauty. All the best to your growing family! :D

A few more with less distracting backgrounds.
Still had to adjust lighting in photoshop, however, due to limitations of my "studio" aka bedroom.

I lke the simple ones better.. I'd bring down the vignette though.. It should fall under her belly, and not on it. The belly is part of the focal point, so I would want to lead the viewer's eye there, and not keep it up at the face.
Your wife is very pretty. I hope you take more shots of her during this beautiful time in her life. :)

Congrats.
I also agree that the vignette is too strong.
I would seriously go much more basic on these. Remember you're going to be looking at these for years to come. I wouldn't go too crazy on the processing. Just my opinion.

Congratulations,
I understand that you have a happy family.
Have fun with your child !
Please let me share some friendly thoughts:
1) why do you use void background ? (a simple scenery might help define the theme and provide intimate atmosphere)
2) why she does not look at the child ? (at some photos it seems that she is taking a distance from the child - when she does not look at the camera we have no clue what she stares at)
3) I am sure that your wife has a nice smile, use it while taking these photos (there is no need to be so formal).
Taking pictures during pregnancy is FUN. I do not get this flavour from your photos.
Having said that, from your photos it is obvious that you adore your wife and that you are proud of her prudence. Ι think she is very lucky having you.

You have a lovely wife... She is beautiful, and I really like some of your shots of her. I'm with most here who like your simpler efforts, and also agree that the vignetting is a little too strong. That said, These will be great memories of a special time in your family's life. All the best!

I really like the second photos in your two posts -- they are both classic shots. Those are the type of picture one would expect to find in the family album, and whether you know the person or not the photo just "speaks" to you. All the pictures are nice (even the ones with the heavy effects), but the second shots in both post are really speacial.
