KennyG already posted some shots from this meeting, but here's some from me. Want to say thanks to Ken for taking the time to show me a couple of new shooting locations at Croft, and for passing on some of his vast experience.

#1 Formula Ford 1600 - although it was only qualifying day, it would have been nice to have seen more people at the circuit. Look how empty the stands are.

#2 Long circuit kart racing - only one word describes the drivers and that's 'nutters'!

#3 Some Formula Ford 2000

#4 Northern Saloon and Sports Car racing

#5 Couldn't leave out the Legends

A cracking day.

Any comments or feedback welcomed.

Cheers,

Simon.

Enjoyed the company Simon. The Clarke brothers were a late entry (Jamie and Jon in 97 and 79) and next time I see Jon I'll tell him that tarmac is better for traction than grass and blame you for the evidence. :)

Those nutters in the carts must have sore necks at the end of a race. They looked like manic nodding parcel shelf dogs. Travelling at those speeds with your butt half an inch of the ground isn't for me.

Crispy!

Funny you mention the stands being empty. Brands was deserted this weekend. Shame, as the larger small meetings (that make sense?!) need support.

Things like the BTCC is mental busy yet is really only banger racing on tarmac these days...Plato...Muller..ahem
