At least I will get my money back. Looks like they are buying 20,000 tickets next year (to give away) to make Tony George a bit happier.

I wouldn't hold your breath on it happening next year unless Max resigns this year.

Load of nonsense if you ask me. Formula One was never going to work in the US (again) due to the circuit being a bit...well..Mickey Mouse. Even the drivers have said so. BUT the US fans wanted a GP so Tony and Bernie did what the public wanted.
This crap has blighted an otherwise exciting season - at least The Chin isn't winning. Give it time though, I'm sure the Red Rule Book will come out soon.
Adolf Mosely must go - He was on the verge last year then did a u-turn, this time he has to go.
F1 for me now is just something to watch on the telly, it used to be a passion.
Rant over :(

I'll take sensible bets on whether F1 as it is now even runs next year. There is more going on than you know Dave. Watch the news is all I'm going to say.

"Eyes wide open". F1 is in serious danger of rotting from within.

Has been for a while now.
Every other open wheeled single seater series runs on slick tyres - F1 - the alleged pinnacle of motorsport doesn't! Hello!
Bring back massive turbos, manual gearboxes, huge wings and slick tyres.

Bring back... huge wings...
Oh gawd NO!... I don't really want to get all technical about this, but one of the main factors that makes modern F1 so boring is the lack of overtaking.
In no small part, this is due to the dependence on aerodynamic downforce and that fact that it stops working once you get close to the car in front. This is due to the way that the leading car's aero-package disrupts the air rendering the pursuing car's aerodynamics less effective. Since getting close to the car in front is fairly fundamental to overtaking (particularly in a corner leading onto a straight), this tends to muck things up just a bit. So no more wings, please. Big slick tyres, yes. Shift the balance back to mechanical grip and not aerodynamic downforce. Then you'll get decent racing.
Go and watch any club event with a mix of classes racing... the exciting races with lots of overtaking are the ones where wings are NOT present.

Coulthard = "Mr. Potato Head" he also bears a striking resemblance to the character "Kryten" from the SciFi comedy series "Red Dwarf".

All 7 teams have been found guilty on 2 accounts of bringing the sport into disrepute - punishments to be decided on 14th September.
ANY MONEY says that all drivers and teams concerned lose their points and Old Smug-macher is in pole position for championship number 8! Aaaargh!
If they punish the drivers that's just wrong, they wanted to race and not lose potential points, especially the fast boys ie Alonso

Chances are, the 'refund' will be a certificate towards future tire purchases. ;)
I think they should just chuck all the results for the Indianapolis race just held and bring them back to run it again in December. Make them run the race on snow tires, or on chains.
That'll test their manhood.

Looks like it'll just be financial penalties for the teams.
