big line on photo

hi we use a canon 900 and 9000 when we do a 4 by 6 print theres a line at the edge of the print and the paper zigs left to right any clues of why or how to fix it if you make the print 4 by 5 the lines out of the picture only does it on4 by 6 paper

it may be more helpful if you can be more descriptive (with some punctuation marks, too). :)

the "line" -- is it physical damage to your paper, as in a long, straight scratch? or is it a solid colored line being printed?

what is the orientation of the line? is it parallel to the long or short side of the paper?

does it happen on both of your 900 and 9000 printers?

what do you mean by the paper zigs left to right?

sorry im not a writer but the line goes across the small size and its like a rub mark when the paper comes out of the printer it moves back and forth and yes it does it on both machines
