I have heard of MAD COW before....but this one takes the cake. She looks to be a bit perturbed about something!

I'm always amused by the way people interpret the facial expressions of cows. I've spent most of my life around cattle and learned to sense their moods, but only by observing their behavior. They will change their head posture and move their ears some, but their face really never changes.

I love working with cattle, but as a photographic subject they generally bore me. Maybe because I've spent so much time looking at them. One exception would be a peaceful herd in the foreground of a pastoral landscape shot. They can add a sense of scale a certain element of serenity.
