Greetings,
Just make myself a new flash diffuse for my 270EX when I find the clear plastic box for my rechargeable battery set has about a nice size for it, and it is curve slightly, 11.5cm x 7cm. I use art board and I glue aluminum foil inside as its reflector. It gain about a 1/4 stops of light. I then use kitchen napkin (as LordV) as a diffuser and glue it inside the plastic cutout. The light loss with this is 1 2/3 stops. I few test shots and I like its more diffuse light than my previous DIY. Comments please. Enjoy...

Does the foil work better as a reflector than a white glossy material ?

Greetings,
Aluminium won't affect the color balance much. As for much how more efficient, I think it depends on material. Anyway, I choose aluminum because it is in my kitchen and is very easy to work with. Enjoy...

Greetings,
Ya, I was thinking of following your diffuser, but, I think Coke can is too big for 270EX. Thanks for commenting. Enjoy...
