My friend Eric introduced me to a new place where I can find YCNH. So we went there together last weekend. I was lucky to get the action shot. :D
The pictures were taken in jpeg straight out of my 300D, uncropped, only resized to fit 100Kb.
Honest C/C welcome.

Thanks ngannet. :D I was surprised by the shots too after i uploaded them to my computer. My friend taught me how to use tripod when shooting birds. Tripod is the key. ;)
This ycnh was quite friendly. We could get about 15ft from him.
Another great sequence, CFC, and nice detail! That's a neat bird - never seen one IRL. Thanks tupe! I ran into one by accident just recently. Then a friend told me where i can find more of them. :D

Great shots! I like how in the second one, the splashing water is frozen but his wingtips still convey motion...gives an idea how fast he must be!
