Just need to sort out a NR workflow and ill be happy with it. AF works so much better in those conditions than a 5D Classic.

These are nice... A little tight in the crops for me, but I like the action.

I went to one of these not too long ago, didn't have anything but my iPhone with me, so the shots pretty much sucked. The lighting in there was atrocious, so without using flash, I think I would have had issues no matter what.

Anyways, looks like you had a bit better, but your ISO still looks high, so I guess you had poor lighting as well? Yours looks to be in a gym? Our is inside a roller skating rink, and is meant for first kisses and double skating parties, etc...

Still working on the crops. Not too sure how I should have done them.

Yeah this was a pretty poor lit gym so I was at ISO1000+ even at f/1.8. Hopefully as more bouts go on, I can go in a bit lower since ISO3200 is not as clean as the 5D could handle but still very well controlled.

I was trying for smaller apretures to keep things more in focus this time, so was shooting at f2.8 and ISO 3200 for most of the evening. Except when I was playing with the tilt shif, then it was 3.5 and 6400 (noisy!)

Couple of tilt-shift shots:

Awesome. If I was to be where you were, I would have liked to have a 24-70 but for some reason, I dont like sitting down to shoot this.

#1 and #4 look ace!

I didn't like sitting down for 3 hours on that hard gym floor, that's for sure :)

I had that range covered with my 24mm, 50mm and 85mm. I suppose I could have brought the 24-70 & 70-200, but I like that 2.8 is stopped down a couple for the primes. Not sure if they're actually sharper, but in my mind they are :)
