Hi all,

My mother-in-law has a compact olympus camera a d560 zoom I think. She let some computer dude try to fix her machine and not only could he not fix it, but he also deleted a lot of her software!

Short story is she doesn't have the original cd and Olympus doesn't distribute camedia on the net. She is not a techno-head so she would prefer to stay with the system she knows. So if anyone wants to help out I would be greatful.

Cheers,

Vince

If I remember correctly you can download the software from the olympus European site, but not the northamerica site.

I looked around and found the european model for the d560z (the c-350z) but under software it only lists the usb autoconnect driver manual. If I punch in some other cameras I can get options like "camedia utility software". Since I have never used the camera or the software I don't know if they are compatible and I don't have access to the camera.

camedia is a software suite, it should be fine with any olympus camera. of course if your camera explodes and your house burns to the ground, don't look at me. :)
