I was on the road for work and the rink was only a couple of miles away, so I checked it out. Great game, but yeah, kinda lopsided... Edina won 8-0... they scored even with one of their players in the penalty box. No jube on the scores in the 3rd period.

Anyone got a stick flex.. where the stick snaps and the player eats it (aka..falls on their face)?? All the slashes the composite sticks take these days it seems more break than ever and the player never knows until they take a shot and the stick breaks. I haven't caught that but seen it happen watching the college men's team.

there was a "young stars" tournament in penticton, bc about a month ago. there were prospects from the flames, oilers, sharks, canucks and ducks. it was pretty cool seeing a bunch of the 'up-and-comers' play.
