I know a lot of ppl get annoyed with the black bars, but I like it ;)
Thoughts on the photos themselves ?

Nice, colorful, and good composition overall. Looks like their could be some clipping in the shadows and highlights tho, however i dont have a calibrated monitor.

I think these are very interesting photos, but my feeling is that there are two potential images in each one. I would have separated out the barrel from the first, and the chairs from the second.

I love the photos, but count me in as one who doesn't like the framing...

I like the first one. At first I thought it was too busy but I think the framing works. Good job leaving the center open and having a the cars and superstructure frame the shot. It's nice with the eye drawing to the hotspot on the door. It needs something more, maybe a subject. I'd also love to see more done with the cars on the left (more pics, that is). Good stuff.

Yeah, I agree with the black bars...at first I thought it was my laptop. I think they're too distracting. I would say a solid black frame evenly all around would help keep the attention in towards the image itself.
I think these are very interesting photos, but my feeling is that there are two potential images in each one. I would have separated out the barrel from the first, and the chairs from the second.

I agree with JayJay on this as well. As I was scrolling down I stopped at the top half of the 2nd image and liked it. Then I continued to scroll and thought the chairs distract too much. They might be too far down from the rest of the attention in the picture.
Otherwise, great PP. Sharp, great bold colors and details.

I wonder how many dollars of spray paint went into that place!!!
I really like the first photo. Agree with JayJay and stunt on the second.

I love both (minus the frames) but to each their own. The barrell and the chairs really make it POP!

I like the shots. This is the perfect scene for HDR, or maybe even pseudo-HDR with the pictures you have.
(I don't like the bars)

Thanks on all the feedback guys !
Interesting to see the views on the framing ... didn't realise so many were against it haha.
Would you guys reckon the chairs be better if it was smaller and further up the frame ? Or just take it out altogether ?
Lens used is the 17-55 f2.8

I like the chairs where they're at, it adds a nice 3d effect to it..
