Silly Giraffe

Visiting the San Diego Zoo, a young giraffe was eating and smiling at the visitors.

Nice pic! The last time I was there, the giraffes were being a bit recalcitrant...

Now, is it just me or is that giraffe just plain goofy looking? :shock: I mean, the head to neck ratio isn't there yet. Perhaps it's just like a puppy from a large breed of dog who hasn't quite grown into its paws yet? :mrgreen:

John, thanks for the comment. This young giraffe is stretching forward with its head and seemed to be curious about the visitors below. I am certain that after a time this curiosity will disappear and it will be as aloof as its parents.
