Wow! Cool spiders you have there. Is #3 really blue or just some picture effect?

The blue one is really blue, its common name is a greenbottle blue. Its blue, green and orange. Cute.

I just got a pure orange one, but its only a spiderling (sling) about 2 cm's

thanks

Great pictures. Like the coloured one, he/she is almost as pretty as its dinner!

Not sure why I looked as I hate spiders but these are fantastic shots. They are that clear, they made me flinch!

Thanks, for nearly all my spider shots I use the Canon 70-200 L IS USM and a 13mm extension tube. I prefer tubes to macro lenses for some reason, I think you get a lot more control over DOF with tubes.

Wow

I'm wondering... how much do they cost? Are they hard to keep alive? Do they stink?

I want a pet, but I'm a student and that's the biggest one I can afford.
