There is a lot of other work to be done to this image, but for now I'm just trying to see if I can get a decent crop out of it. Opinions? Thanks in advance...

If the bedpost is your focus than, well, not good honestly. Pretty much everything in the room is brighter, more detailed, more colorful, and more interesting and completely take away from the subject. Honestly though, I don't think you can get that much out of that bedpost anyways?

Lonelyjew, I think you're right. I'll be back in this location soon, and will do a reshoot. Thanks!

Bin this one and reshoot. The bed post kills the shot.

^ What he said.

Before you can decide on cropping, you must decide on what's the subject. It's not clear to me what that is. If it's the bedpost, you've got a very busy background drawing attention from it. However, the bedpost isn't really that interesting while the room itself is full of vibrant color. Keep working at it. Something might pop out at you.

As I was scrolling down this, I thought I'd stumbled on a website unsuitable for minors.
