I like the composition; it is sharp and well lit. But..... the closed eyes....??? There is nothing in the image that suggests why the eyes should be closed.

It was the end of a long day and my eyes were stinging. I was taking my glasses off to rub my eyes. :)

I actually don't mind the closed eyes...seems like a natural thing when someone is taking off their glasses. As mentioned, everything seems to be hitting on all cylinders: composition, tonal range, lighting.

i like the closed eyes.. gives a sense of fatigue.. or at the end of a long endeavor.. the not so close shave helps with that too

I totally feel you man. I have had many days like that and I saw it right away. Like others have said, take off glasses ---> close eyes ---> rub eyes.

Then comes sleep I hope?
