My wife saw this and the first thing she said was that Derek Lee's swing was technically perfect, good stance, eye on the ball all the way to the bat, ect.

The first thing I saw was that my timeing for the ball on bat was perfect.

These shots are awesome!! They show his stance real well, and the way the ball is right on the tip of the bat in the first one is really cool. Great timing! They are a little dark, but oh well. It makes the ball easier to notice I think.

Very nice photo. Where were you when you got this shot like how far away?

We were in the upper deck, so a good distance away. A better judge might be to say that there was no cropping at 300mm, that's the full image.

Nice shots. Nothing a little PP couldn't do to help the 'lighting' aspects, and bring out some of the highlghts. Otherwise, glad you enjoyed your time...and I would say that the practice is paying off. Good luck.
