Took this shot of my daughter and caught these neat catch lights with the Elinchrom Ranger RX and a Silver 33" Umbrella. Nothing technically perfect or great about the photo, just funny to see the lighting set up in her eyes...
Just thought you all might like it...

I like her expression and light in her eye. I think it might need a bit of editing. Maybe lighten a bit and a bit more saturation. Also crop so her eyes are exactly straight or more off to one side so it looks like a more extreme head tilt. Hope it helps, I am new at this forum so I hope I havent over stepped my boundaries here, please let me know if I have.

Kaiden, you are pretty brave to post some of your work with the rude comments that you have made in the past to others, such as your now famous "Meh... Sorry..." comments etc. I won't bring myself down to your level and only suggest that you post this one in the kids/family section for sharing. This is the critique and comments section, not just for sharing.
Or did you want some critiques? Some might remember you and really let you have it....:)

Meh... Not really doing it for me.
I want the minute it took to view this thread back.

You're so kind as to be brutally honest with others without giving any actual constructive criticism, so let me afford you the same courtesy! It is a boring snapshot that could have been just as easily taken with a point and shoot. :)

Haha I had to go see what all the whining was about. You've really made a load of pointless "I don't like it" posts kaiden.. try being helpful with your comments.
WB looks off to me, kinda cool catchlight though.

You know what you are all 100% right. To be honest, most of the post were in very bad taste and at fault of a very bad night with one to many adult beverages. No excuses and again I am very sincerely sorry for any bad post that were made on any forum that I posted on. Since making those post, I have thought many times that they were out of character and they were set wrong. So it is in saying that I am very sorry once again and will not disrespect the honest post made by others seeking any sort of critique ever again.
Mpistone, Todd Lambert, Allscape, Tingharp and Randi thanks for setting me straight. I appreciate it more than you know. Every now and then everyone needs to be reminded that they stepped out of line.
One last thing though, Randi what kind of Point and Shoot do you have, I have to get one! J/K...
Does anyone know how I can place this post in ever single thread I posted on. I really think each individual that got a rude or out of character post deserves an apology?

Cute expression, I get the same sort of looks out of my 10 year old. Though this looks OOF to me. Would have been nice to see more sharpness in the eyes.

You'd have to go through the UserCP and find all your posts.
Although, I believe 99.99% of all your 40-something posts have been incredibly rude and completely unhelpful, so I doubt anyone would find an apology sincere.
But I guess it's a start ...?

+1 here definitely. My number one complaint about this forum are the folks that completely bash your work but aren't helpful in the least. Then there are some on here that will give brutally honest critique but you learn and grow from them. I'm thankful for them.

It's nice that you apologized. Sad to see that you were drunk during most of your posts. My guess is that your beautiful daughter benefits more from a sober dad?
As for the photo, a bit out of focus. I dig the catchlights, and the crayon/marker on her hands I like a lot for some reason...probably cause it spells "fun kid".

Thanks for tip. Regardless if anyone feels it's sincere or not, it's just as easy to create a new log in rather than go through all the trouble of being honest with yourself while showing everyone that in fact you were wrong. I really truly feel bad, but in the end I can not change things nor can each individual who does things wrong in their lives. We all have to try to patch up our own mistakes and learn from them. With that said I will not be creating a new log in and running from my mistakes. If people want to bash me more, that's perfectly fine with me, I deserve it. Thanks again for the help...

Well, I think it takes a lot of courage to admit you're wrong and to apologize, especially on the internet - bravo. 8-)

+1! It truly is a rarity nowadays to see someone admit that maybe they weren't correct and it does take a ton of courage. I definitely don't think an apology in every single thread is needed, though. :D And you're right, it is neat to see the light reflection in her eye!

Not to be meant in a weird sort of way, but it's nice to be smacked back down to earth once in a while.
From this day forward, I have put down the rare frosty import bottle in exchange for a more honest clear way of writing. :)
Thanks again for leading me into the light...
