What is it that you are testing for?

Dam, your good, I knew I came to the right place for constructive criticism.

I was checking for sharpness, Depth of field, auto focus, etc. I was hoping for some input, on what I should be expecting from this lens. BRC

Vertigo... thanks for posting two more pics. Iīm sure you fell in love with that lens already. :)

It really is a wonderful lens and if you donīt need the 16-35L /f2.8 (i donīt), then you saved a lot of money also.

Regards

Sorry for my sarcasm BRC, but this was the one that seemed the most extreme example of the 'have I got a good lens' threads, so far. You didn't even ask if it was sharp (which seems the preoccupation of so many). There is a "photo sharing section" if you want to show your work. However, what are we to judge here - the composition, subject matter or any of the other things you mention. You have bought the lens and must realise it's a great lens. If you have a particular concern, of course, that would be addressed. For what it's worth, it's a good shot and well exposed.

Looks sharp to me! I'd say it's a keeper 100%. I'm sure your going to get some great shots with that lens. I have one myself, and I absolutely love it! Haven't gotten much of a chance to use it yet, but I'm working on that.

Have fun with your new toy!:-)
