I had no idea how to contact you guys and I can't report a PM so here goes...
I received this PM for a member called ForumModerators saying...
Dear, Rebel With A Cause;PATTERSON;ldim;Dimitri_V;engcogod!

A virus alert was noticed on your computer.
We highly recommend you to check your computer and perform online virus check at our site immediately: Link removed. With A Cause;PATTERSON;ldim;Dimitri_V;engcogodIt has to be spam, deal with it.

Cheers Jon. I knew someone had to be online.
It is a shame that we can't report a PM and not very nice when we don't know who all mods are in case we need to reach them.
I remember on the front page of the forum, there was a link the took you to a page with all mods. In there you could see who was online and reach him/her if needed. This link is now gone I see.

Would it be a good idea to remove the link from the OP so that nobody follows it without reading and so that it doesn't give a link back to site?

Well, posting a thread and then using the "Report this Post" button for that thread will call it to our attention as fast as anything will, and you won't have to wonder who's on line. It can also give other members a heads up.

If you want report a PM you could select one of your own posts and click on the report post icon but make sure you describe the issue in the report. That way all moderators and admins see it. Sending to specific moderators can mean a long delay before it is seen.

Thanks for reporting it. I deleted 73 pm's from this user and deleted another 40 pm's from a different user who has been banned too.

Im sure the admins know this, but in VBulletin you can stop people registering usernames with admin or mod or forum in the name. :)

I got that pm too. And I thought I was special. ;)

I just deleted it. Was a bit surprised as it's the first time it's ever happened to me here.

Oh, well, just gotta be smart and not reply to that garbage. Some people just have nothing better to do unfortunately.
