Hello all, new member. Here are a couple I shot the other night. I'm a recently new to photography... but here's some I came up with:

I like the shots but what caught me the most was the sign (STER???) in the top right corner of the 3rd shot - I'd love to see a shot around that, without the lamp post - I think it would have interesting potential.

The tree in the 2nd shot would be a better shot without the lamppost as I think. That being said, seeing how the lamps are in the 3rd shot, it might have a potential for a long shot along the line of them.

Good work though, keep it up!

Thanks talshadar for the advice! Here is the sign you mentioned in the 3rd pic. I don't really like this photo though. I'm going to go back tonight and position myself where I was in the third pic and focus on the sign... hopefully the results will be enjoyable.

The sign reads Sierra Vista Motel. Its an OLD motel in downtown converted into apartments, where I currently reside.

Wow! It looks like it would have some great potential! Post results of any shots - I'd keep going back, trying new angles, different composition and lighting to see what works best. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
