Finnally got up enough nerve to take the camera out on my kayak. These were taken at Hoit's Pond in Concord, NH today, right before a thunderstorm.

Great shots! Looks like a serious kayak. Must be a pretty big pond, if you need a compass and a chart!

Thank-you. Actually, Hoit's Pond is small (206 acres) and it's proper name is Hoit Road Marsh. The compass and chart have many uses even on a small body of water such as this. I always carry them in my deckbag. Earlier in the day I did a 9 mile run down the Contoocook River which is one of the few rivers in the world that flow South to North. It's very cool to be headed downstream and see you are going due North.:eek:
