Printer details: S9000
Paper: Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy
My monitor is calibarted with Spyder.

Immidiately after printing colors looks vibrant and good.
But within 5-10 minutes color gets desaturated. May be due to drying.
Desaturation happens in dark colors.

I got same results in fallowing cases.
1) Source Space: Adobe RGB
PrintSpace: Printer Color Mgmt

2) Source Space: Adobe RGB
PrintSpace: BJColor Profile 2000
Intent: Perceptual
Enable ICM: off

Here are some of potential suspects
1) Printer was warning that BLACK ink is low.
2) Ink may react to summer temparature.

Pls let me know your thoughts

Thanks
Ramesh

i print on photo paper pro with identical set up in room temperature (75 F). only difference is perhaps all ink tanks are almost full.

prints always come out more saturated (and seems darker too) than i'd like, but within an hour or so they kinda desaturate like you said and start to somewhat match the monitor.

then i find they fade rather disappointingly if left under sunlight. :(
