Thanks Stan for giving me the push to start my first thread...

I took this picture of Mt Elbert last October outside of Leadville, Colorado with my G3. It is the highest mountain in Colorado. I must say that Southern Colorado near the San Juans was even more stunning. Colorado in the fall is just jaw dropping around every turn.....Enjoy

Yes it is breathtaking in more ways than one.... and yes it is actually nicer to be there but the pictures will always bring back nice memories of when I was there. I promise to post some more of my '04 Colorado trip. Meanwhile I need to frame this picture for my host that was gracious enough to take me to this beautiful country... They arrive in my hometown next week, I hope it will be a nice payback.
