If you are in Vancouver be sure to check out my work at the Canada House Gallery (at 602 West Hastings ) (http://www.canadasnorth.com/) where I will have 20 16x20" matted prints represented of my hyper-realistic nature photography and aurora borealis from the exotic Northwest Territories.

Click here to see some of my open edition work. (http://www.karljohnston.com/art)

But in order to really get a feel for it ;) you need to go check it out in print; makes so much of a difference to view the prints rather than the digital web resolution files.
I sent the shipment of my prints off a couple of days ago. I should be there by next week, most definitely Feb 15 until April or March 30th.

If you do happen to go be sure to take pics for me please, I won't be able to make it.

The goal of the gallery is to showcase the north to the south and to expand northern artists to the global community (which will be at the olympics). More exposure for authentic and raw northern art and a lot of goodies and exhibitions to go check out. It's a very grand place I'm told, you can see some pictures on the first link of what it looks like.

Also check it out on flickr where you can see pictures of what it actually looks inside there (http://www.flickr.com/photos/canadasnorth/)

Here are some events (http://www.canadasnorth.com/events)happening at the gallery
