So there I was, out on the hills trying to take some sunset landscape pics, when I hear the sound of a multi-engine turboprop coming at me. I quickly flip over to sports mode just in time to get a few shots of this Herky bird flying by:

Actually, this is a KC-130, as I'm pretty sure that the outboard tanks are actually refueling pods, with those white rings near the rear of them being the refueling drogues.
The landscape shots didn't turn out too well due to haze (and operator... must...get...tripod!), but this certainly made the trip worthwhile!
