Retro: How do I separate AF/AE lock on my "new" D30?

I would like the * button to AF and the shutter half-press to AE lock on my D30. I have it enabled on my 20D with no problems, but I can't figure out if this feature even exists on my D30. If not, what setting is my best alternative? I'm guessing standard * for AE lock and half press for AF lock?

To assign AF to * button, set CF02 to Option 1 (or 3).
