I was just playing around with my 20D using EOS Capture and noticed two limitations. First, I had the camera in RAW+jpg to begin with and when I tried to use the Interval Timer option, it would fail after the first image, though it would store the RAW and jpg images to disk anyway. I found that it had to be in either RAW or one of the jpg modes and would take the requested number of images.
The second thing was that I could not use the camera in bulb mode, so controlling the camera remotely with the computer will not allow taking images longer than 30 seconds.
Does anyone have the TC-80N3 Timer remote controller? I wonder if it has the same limitation of non-bulb operation in timer mode?
Now all I need is a laptop and an external AC adaptor cable for my 20D so I can run my camera all night for some interval shooting.
