Outing with 30

hi,
So i haven't been out with my camera for some time now and was very very frustrated because i came back home with only 4 keepers :/
These are half of them, what do you think? Does the swan shot need a tad more contrast or the soft B&W look is ok (i personally like it :) ):

I am not so sure about #1. The swans head is pretty much cut of and th bill is OOF. There should have been more DOF in that shot.

#2 is nice and sharp.

#3 needs een closer crop, without the part of the flyer at the top and less of the pavement at the right hand side. Than it could have something...

^ i agree with you. Looked at my other pictures, and these just didn't stand up to the standard...
