......with the intention of getting them printed this morning. Blacks Photo was offering 8x10's for less than $2.00. I know there's a lot of fun in posting pictures here for all to see but there's nothing like going and getting them printed. For those that have never gotten anything bigger than 5x7......go and do a 8x10, it's great.

I like prints too, especially when I get a compostition that will look good on Metallic paper.
That first shot though, is out of focus. Not sure how that's going to print.

This was one of my challenges when shooting this one.
After reading your comment I went and checked the print and the image on my computer to see what happened. I have concluded that it's not out of focus it's just that the DOF is so thin I struggle to find exactly where the focal point is. Tests with this setup suggest that the actual DOF is less than half an inch and with a round pot (the subject) there's going to be a considerable amount oof.
Viewing from arms reach you can't pick out the oof parts all that well so it still looks really good.
