I know how to setup a batch action in photoshop, the problem is that I have several (100's) of photos I want to resize. The problem is that some are landscape orientation and some are portrait.
How can I do this in a batch is for instance I want the portraits to be resized to 600x900 and the landscape to 900x600. I end up portraits 900x1200 or something.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Toogy,
Yes. In PS CS2 you choose:
File > Automate > Fit Image
Then type in 900 pixels in both height and width. Whichever one is the greater will be constrained to 900.
All: Now...I have a similar problem. I want to batch resize down to 1/2 A4 size JPG's for a huge batch of 200+ images. Any ideas how to automate that from 8.2megapixel TIF's?

I have 2 actions for batch resize. One for each orientation. I seperate the files into 2 seperate folders after all editing. Then run actions, and place new images in one new "OutPut" folder.

Can't you just create an action for that? and then run it from the batch command?
