This is my website (really new). Click on the different "portfolios" to view pics.... http://bombsightphotography.com/default/

Please give some mature insight as to the work that I have done so far.

Thank you

I like the simplicity overall. The only real suggestion I'd make would be to make the logo smaller. It takes up too much room. By making it smaller, the images would naturally move up a bit, and I wouldn't have to scroll down to see the entire image. My resolution is 1280x960, btw, and I still have to scroll down.

Yes .... Hawaii, Costa Rica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Texas, Baja & Home.

I'll take your suggestion on making the logo smaller.;)

Logo/title bar needs to be smaller. Not everyone is working on a 30" LCD.

The two different blacks, in the header and body of the website, are annoying. The header black/colour also has a warbly texture thingy going on that is distracting. Almost like crepe paper background.

For your contact info, suggest adding your location. I have no idea which country you're in, which state, or city.

Also, check into proper format for a copyright statement.

I don't usually check out the website requests. I find them too busy or chaotic, or unintuitive. Usually they're much unnecessary effort to view mundane or average photos.

I'm glad I took the time to visit yours. A simplistic approach makes for effectiveness.

I rate your website:
5 stars for ease of navigation
5 stars for being user friendly
5 stars for layout
5 stars for presentation
and
5 stars for quality of photography and talent.

I thought your website was very impressive.

Cheers

Thank you for taking the time to view and comment.
5 stars for your willingness to provide feedback. I just hope thats 5 out of 5 instead of 5 out of 10 or more. :)

I see your logo is still really big, which shrinks your pics making them harder to see.

Also, you should invest in a good circular polarizer, your landscape shots are good, and could really benefit from one ;P

Website looks good, photos look good. Very easy to navigate which make it much more attactive.
Only negative comment, and it may have been something you were going for, but there is a photo on the beach in your landscape photos where you can make out the entire showdow of you, your tripod, camera on the beach in the lower right hand corner. It is the one where you are on the beach looking back at the city across down the beach. Again, it may have been comething you were going for and if so, I apologize, otherwise I would think about removing that photo or doing some PP to eliminate the silhouette.

Nice site. You have an eye to lay out a nice photo. I thought a lot of the photos were a bit flat in appearance. A quick photoshop session adjust color and contrast would really bring the image out adding depth and fullness to the pictures. You've done what a lot of people can't and that's an artistic eye to select a pleasing shot.

Good luck with the site and you photo taking. :)
