My new photo blog! Feedback please?

I created a new photo blog a few weeks ago.. dont have much in there yet, but would like some feedback on the design layout and whatever you wanna suggest.

The blog is neat, you have some nice photos, many look crisp and rich.

Where I think you really shine...

Under portfolio I like your opening photo from the aerial view, neat.

The macros have great color- where did you find a snail like that? I would hang those prints on my wall :)

Street- I like how you captured everyday things, like the escalator.

Overall I liked it, and I like the image/style you have.

I would like more people to review my blog and give me some insight how i can make it better.

Tell me a few things:
Does it look professional?
Is the layout nice and attractive?
The picture size?
The colour scheme that i've used (black, grey, red)??
