...taken with the DRebel XT with the kit lens? I want to be totally inspired. Is there a thread somewhere like this or if I start a thread in the photography sharing forum will you all post your 18-55 DRebel shots and tell me the specifics?

Try photoSIG and do a search for lens or camera.
Loads of great images to be found.
