Ok this is a mile away from my usual subject of sports.
While I'm spending a week away in Cornwall, I attempted some lanscape shots... from working out the sunset angle I was able to aim for a costal path near downderry.
PP is from Lightroom with a sinle RAW.
5DII, 24-105 F/4, CPL
in AV f/18 ISO 100
Looking out towards Looe, and St Michaels Mount, whilst walking along the coast path from Portwrinkle to Downderry, Cornwall, UK.

#3: This one was from the day before while I was scoping out the area, and tonemapped from 3 RAWS (+/- 2 EV) in Photomatix

The first and the last ones for me.
For some reasons the rocks at bottom right make me think of washing being hung out to dry.
In the last one the crepusclars just make it. Is it HDR?

the last one is stunning! The 1st does bother me a bit because I am not sure if I like the placement of the sun. it seems to centered in the frame for my tastes, but it is probably my own opinion on it... good shots

well #3 went right into my favs folder to look at later, so that's a good thing as I'm picky :) that one small area of light colored water by the coast sets the photo off for me (not to mention the sun rays)....just really works well for me color wise.

#3 is very nice! I love how the sun is beaming through the clouds on that one.

It looks to me as if the horizon is curved, thus making straightening hard to do.
I agree though, tis the best of the bunch.... "stunning" is a good word. I think I will use it...Stunning!

its not curved the land and see inthe middle are causing that effect, it just needs to the straightened

Rich, the third photo is excellent. You'll not find a better sunset shot than this in a great number of nature photography magazines. You've done a great job of tonemapping the image. If I were to offer any suggestion, it might be to crop a bit from the top and left side to bring a bit more focus to the composition (edit). But the original displays great as is. It really is outstanding. Great job!

Here's a redo of #3:
I realise HDR is not in everyone's tastes and this is my first attempt, I'm pleased with the positive responses it i getting though. Thanks.
