Last month we held a Valentine's Day photo contest on the website. We encouraged couples to write in telling us about their relationship and idea for a shoot. We got quite a few replies and ended up selecting this couple from NYC, Washington Heights to be exact. While the contest was open to couples of all types (married, dating, or engaged), the couple we thought wrote the more heartfelt story turned out to be recently engaged. They were really fun to work with and it looks like we'll be shooting their wedding in October.
This session was sandwiched between 2 client meetings, so we didn't have our usual amount of time to shoot. To make matters worse, we got stuck in 2 different traffic jams on our way to meet them and lost about an hour of time. It was overcast and getting dark in a hurry. And it was cold! So cold that I couldn't feel my fingers during the roof shots. Thank goodness for the subway!
This was my first real shoot since November. I was rusty and a bit rushed due to the lack of the time. I'm pretty happy with the set overall and figured I'd post a few here. Feel free to fire away with C&C if you have any.
