I bought a digital rebel this winter and it came bundled with a 256mb CF card I thought I was getting a good deal but the card cannot be read on iphoto for some reason. Does anyone know why? :(

are you able to hook the camera up to the computer with the card in the camera and download the images that way? I would imagine the rebel would have software for Mac, maybe try using that and seeing how it works?

I do use my camera and USB to hook it up to the computer and that way doesn't work and I borrowed a card reader which also failed me. The card was probably bundled with my camera because they needed to get rid of all obsolete equipment:(

well, can you review the pictures on the camera? I don't see why it would let you do that if a computer can't read it....

Dane Electric CF cards unfortunately are garbage. There are many reports of them not functioning. Before you get crazy testing your stuff, try a different CF card.
