It's amazing how these guys move among the thorns and spines of desert and chaparral plants.

Amazing captures Paul! The size of a cactus wren is so different from regular house wren or canyon wren. :shock:

Very nice! I'll bet their nest is safe from predators tucked into the midst of those thorns!

Thanks, I was in Palm Desert visiting the Living Desert Museum. Besides the captive animals there were jack rabbits, cotton tails, roadrunners, and Costa's hummers all over the place. I recommend it if you can make it there.
