Today was the start of the Tall Ships Festival in Tacoma, WA. I spent the day on my boat with some photographer friends and we were able to get some great perspectives and even some neat photos.

These ships are just beautiful. I'm glad people put forth the time, effort and money to keep them sailingthe seas. Great job!

Well I'm in work at the moment but I'm going to make sure I log on at home and show my wife. She sailed on the tall ships round the world race in 1994. Did you pick up the name of the ship in your last photo - it looks familiar!!

Great shots - thanks for sharing. My wife will be stoked.

Born and raised in tacoma and had no clue of a tall ships festival....Nice pics!
