One speedlite at 1/8th power aimed at the white construction board background. Camera at 1/250th, f/11, ISO 100, using my Tamron 17-50mm at around 35mm.

Not quite. I pulled one out of the recycling bin and removed the label by soaking it in hot water.

Just out of curiosity. How'd you get the "fade away to white background" effect (Yes this is probably a noob question, as i am a noob!) Send me a PM if you would be kind enough too. As i'll probably forget to check this!

Unless you are talking about the floor fading to white. That was just a piece of 13x19 photo paper on the floor touching another one on the wall.
