I'm one of those "pay once, buy quality" type of people.

I want a drop in system, but I cringe at the thought of putting a piece of gel in front of a quality lens.

Ideally, it would be:
Glass multicoated plates, instead of plastic
I'll be able to rotate a polarizer in it
It would accept more than one filter at a time
It would have a lens shade like so:

I'll be able to use it in 35mm system, medium format and video... large format if possible

Anybody familiar with such set-up?

Sorry mate Cokin's the only one I know of in the 'drop in' range
There must be other ones though, can't see hassleblad users adopting it!

:cry:That is a Bell-O-Shade filter kit for a Hasselblad. They do use them. There others that have vignetting filters, and other accessories. It seems like I've seen something similar for an EF mount camera, I just can't think of where. Maybe it was some klugy device being offered on eBay? Sorry can't remember.
