Night Shots

Okay....now this is EXTREMELY experimental. These are from my first two session of night photography since I stopped doing it about 6 years ago. Used to love it, but film was too expensive to play with. So, I'm back on it! Very excited. I think the red is coming from city lights, but not sure. I still have to learn how to control the white balance and all. I'm still a digital newbie!

I read up on how to customize the white balance, so next chance I get, I'll put it to use.

Wow, the 3rd and 4th shots are amazing! They remind me of a shot of a nebula from the Hubble telescope.

Yes, last 2 shots are really cool...
Please share settings if possible, looks like a fair amount of light for a night shot... i'd love to just see coulds like that here, its either clear, or dust or sand...
