Hi Folks, I shot a Chinese New Year celebration for the Chinese American Medical Association of California recently. The follow are from the performances put on by members and their kids. I also took portraits (it is a pain to lug all that lighting and background stuff around by yourself...), but they don't belong here so I'll spare you folks =)
More photos on my website. C&C welcome.
As usual lighting was poor. I was sporting two 500D's so I caught most of the action.

I expected there to be just folks with cameras, but there was a association member who was introduced as a "photographer." Kinda irked me. He shot with pop up flash for about 75% of the event. Towards the end, a external flash came out of no where... but he just pointed it directly at his subjects anyways... lol
Here is a photo of him... sort of... I was more interested in his camera.

As usual, a Nikon nemesis appears! (jk) D700 no less, sigh. I am sure there is a guy some where in a Nikon forum talking about how this Canon jerk with two cameras was running around like he owned the place. :p
