Playing with swords + others

Borrowed some swords and others from my friend and tested how they will look when handled properly ;)

Interesting shots. I like the first one the most, the pose and her eye looking at you work really well. In the second I don't like the sword being cut off. Nice idea.

These are good photos. My favorite also is the first one. That look that she has speaks volumes. You know the saying, "if looks can kill." Well she has that look.

I like all of them.. but the crops are odd in one and two.. lost the end of the sword in two,. and in one.. I think top and left side could be more open... lose less of her hair.

Number three you lost the top of her head.. you just shouldn't do these things.. there so arbitrary looking.

I LOVE the lighting, the seeming softness of the light in contrast with the "sharp edges" of the props.. and the poses are all fantastic!

And.. I have to say it.. her face.. Oh lord what a stunning face! She is extremely beautifull!
For her profile.. I have to say #2 is may favorite :) :)

Really excellent job on these.. I think there very good.. very moody and very sexy.

Thanks for the comments (so far)! About the crops, all of these are 100% crops from camera. What really bothers me is the cut-out sword in #2. Nothing is gonna get it back :(

This was our first "shoot-out" and we took around 150 shots total. Different make-ups, clothes, backgrounds (I'll post another thread about these tests).

Photographer (me), model and make-up artist are all total amateurs and we did this just for fun one day :)
